The DUFF: Designated Ugly Fat Friend by Kody Keplinger

** spoiler alert ** Oh My God!! This book was awesome!! I loved it so so much!!! So baineca considered herself a duff. she has a very low esteem and so many problems in her life. Then there is this womanizer guy called Wesley. She hates him a lot, and he always hurts her by saying she is DUFF.. Well, then at some point, Baineca is full of all the stress and wants to let it out. Not by drugs, not by cutting but by (view spoiler) First, it is purely physical and she isolates herself from her friends and family. She is then addicted sort of to him. But then, she discovers he is as fucked up as she is. He has family problems and is considered the shame to his family. They start getting closer to each other. Her dad turns violent when divorce papers arrive, and I truly hated her mom. She is so selfish. She had a good, loving husband and a daughter and she leaves him cause she is not happy? Pure selfish. Then, at some point, Bainica realizes she is in love with him, even though she would not admit it, cause she hated him once upon a time and he is a womanizer.So she decides to leave.. And she is heartbroken by this decision but she knows he is not right for her. He tries to get her back of course ( I knew from the beginning he liked her, and that letter he sent her was SO romantic it made me cry) And after dating the nerd, Tobby, who is too perfect it soon became annoying and reminded me of Edward cullen. UGH. She finally realizes she loves him and he tells her she does too.. Ya so, I loved this book, stayed until 5 in the night finishing it. It was such a page turner. It had loads of sex scenes and bad words though. I loved the main character, but I think she is a little too unconfident but she is badass. Wesley is so hot and cute, I loved him, even though in the beginning he was a jerk, he turned out a pretty good guy in the middle and end. He was funny too.. 5 stars for being a page turning, good plotted book.
